This is the observation of Vincent and François Pugibet in the face of a chronic increase in the alcohol content of wines. They then imagined wines at only 9%, as our grandparents used to drink, but meeting today’s quality requirements.
To do this, they cultivate world-renowned grape varieties harvested at full maturity. Correcting the alcohol will reveal the aromatic potential and increase the freshness.
This marriage of tradition and innovation has given rise to a unique “Plume” vintage that is perfectly suited to the demands of modern life and delights even the most discerning gourmets.
This wine holds only 9% alcohol, exception for a wine of this quality particularly in Languedoc. It is truly a new and unique approach to wine making, based on their pursuit of elegance, smoothness and the pleasure of drinking. With feminine characteristics, these wines are out to re-conquer the tables and are armed with all of the assets necessary to seduce.
Serve chilled at 11°C. This wine is perfect as an aperitif or with summer salads, barbeques and pick-nicks.
Tasting Notes
Rose petal pink, just looking at this wine is refreshing. It offers a lifted red berry nose and a palate of strawberries and red currants. This is an easy-going, sipping wine perfect for summer evenings!
