Dudley s Stone – Cabernet Merlot is a tasty, low-calorie merlot packed with delicious fruity flavours balanced with subtle spicy aromas. This South African red is of great value and excellent quality and is sure to make an impression on any occasion.

This delicious wine s name is inspired by the history of the region in which it is produced. Discovered in 1869, the ‘Star of South Africa’ was the first large diamond found in the country. On hearing of the stone, the Earl of Dudley purchased it, had it mounted on a head ornament with 95 smaller diamonds and gave it to the countess of Dudley – it was hence known as the ‘Dudley Diamond’.

Serving

Serving temperature: Dudley s Stone – Cabernet Merlot is a medium-to-full-bodied red wine so is best served just below room temperature, between 16 to 18°C,  to help complement the aromas of the wine.  Chill in the fridge for 25 minutes before serving.

Glass Style: Opt for a large rounded bowl with your Merlot, this allows the glass to seize the aromas of the wine and direct them to the right areas of your pallet.
